Once you make this fall off the bone baked chicken recipe you will never cook bake chicken any other way. Low and slow is definitely the key to making juicy tender, baked chicken.

Ingredients

2lbs chicken wings cut in half

1 tablespoon all purpose seasoning

1tablespoon smoked paprika

1 tablespoon white pepper

1 tablespoon chili powder

4 tablespoons butter

2 cloves minced garlic

1/2 yellow onion

1/2 green bell pepper

1/2 red bell pepper

1/2 cup chicken broth

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Season cleaned chicken, with all purpose seasoning, smoked paprika, white pepper, and chili powder. Add minced garlic and mix well.

 2. Arrange seasoned chicken in a baking dish, top with onions, bell peppers and butter. Pour chicken broth around the chicken and vegetables (not directly on top to keep the seasoning intact).

 3. Cover dish tightly with aluminum foil to keep the moisture in. Bake for about 2 to 2.5 hours, or until chicken is tender and easily pulls away from the bone. Turn chicken halfway through baking to ensure chicken is even browned on both sides. As chicken is baking spoon juice from chicken over chicken to allow chicken to remain moist.

 4. For crispy skin, remove foil, and broil chicken for a few minutes, keeping an eye on it to avoid burning. Allow chicken to rest for about 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
